JetBlue announced plans to launch its first-ever airport lounges, with the initial lounge opening at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 by late 2025, and a second lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal C shortly thereafter.

This initiative is part of JetBlue’s ‘JetForward’ strategy, designed to meet the growing demand for premium services. The new lounges will provide an exclusive benefit for top-tier TrueBlue Mosaic® members and add value for holders of the soon-to-be-announced premium credit card.

“Customers have been requesting a JetBlue lounge for years, and we’re excited to reveal our version in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue. “Lounges are now a crucial service for the increasing number of customers looking for premium experiences. JetBlue’s lounges will enhance the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we grow our range of JetBlue credit cards.”

As the leading airline in New York and Boston’s preferred choice, JetBlue is poised to enhance the travel experience in its two key focus cities through its JetForward initiative. This initiative aims to establish the best leisure network on the East Coast. Once launched, these lounges will offer customers a tranquil space to unwind, work, or relax, reinforcing JetBlue’s dedication to providing an affordable premium experience both in the air and on the ground.

JetBlue Lounge Access

In response to the growing demand for airport lounges, which has resulted in overcrowding and long waits at other airline lounges, JetBlue will prioritize lounge access for its most loyal customers and premium credit cardholders. Complimentary access will be available to the following groups:

  • New premium JetBlue credit cardholders (details to be announced soon)

  • TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members

  • Transatlantic Mint customers

Additionally, TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members and premium credit cardholders will enjoy free access for one guest. Eligible customers will have the option to purchase day and guest passes, subject to availability. JetBlue will also offer an annual pass, allowing even more travelers to enjoy the lounge experience. Further information about lounge access policies will be revealed soon.

More Reasons to Love Mosaic

As JetBlue continues to enhance its award-winning TrueBlue loyalty program, Mosaic 4 members will now enjoy complimentary access to JetBlue’s lounges for themselves and a guest as part of the new Mosaic 4 Signature Perks. This much-anticipated benefit is another milestone in Mosaic’s 12-year evolution.

Beyond the lounge access launching in 2025, Mosaic members can expect even more exciting upgrades, including an enhancement to the popular Move to Mint perk. Starting in 2025, Mosaic members who earn 250 tiles will receive two additional Move to Mint certificates for every 100 tiles they accumulate. This new structure allows Mosaic members to earn an unlimited number of Move to Mint certificates, giving them more opportunities to indulge in JetBlue’s premium Mint experience.

Last year, JetBlue revamped its TrueBlue program to offer even more rewards, introducing new Mosaic levels, tiles, and exclusive perks. Whether members reach Mosaic status through travel spend, JetBlue credit card spending, or a mix of both, tiles offer a customizable path to achieving Mosaic status and unlocking valuable perks.

JetBlue Lounges: A Space Designed for You

JetBlue’s new lounges, located at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (8,000 square feet) and Boston Logan International Airport (11,000 square feet), will showcase the airline’s signature blue elements, alongside local and regional art and thoughtful design. Each lounge will be divided into three distinct areas, offering something for everyone:

  • Play: Relax, socialize, or simply unwind as JetBlue adds a playful twist to the lounge experience. Guests can also enjoy complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks prepared by skilled mixologists at the full-service bar

  • Work: Stay productive with private workspaces, fast and free Wi-Fi, plenty of charging outlets, and a complimentary barista-style coffee bar

  • Lounge: Whether you’re flying solo or with a group, comfortable seating areas provide the perfect spot to enjoy complimentary food and beverages in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.

Each lounge will be staffed by JetBlue’s hospitality-trained crew members, ensuring top-tier customer service that aligns with the airline’s commitment to a welcoming and seamless travel experience.

“Customers love the JetBlue experience, so we’re pulling through those thoughtful touches you find onboard our flights into the lounge experience,” said St. George.

The East Coast’s Premier Leisure Network

JetBlue is solidifying its reputation as the top choice for both leisure and premium leisure travel on the East Coast, offering over 20% more lie-flat seats from Boston than any competing airline. In a recent move to further strengthen its presence in New England, JetBlue announced increased flight frequencies on several of the most sought-after leisure routes departing from Boston Logan, providing even more options for travelers.
